Area of outcropping, on private farmland near West Horton in Northumberland. Recorded in the Beckensall Archive as ‘West Horton 1b’, this carving was added to ERA by Northumberland and Durham Rock Art Project (NADRAP) in 2008. Motifs consist of cups, rings, partial rings and grooves. Whilst some motifs appear in good condition, others are extremely eroded. This may suggest the parts of the stone have been under vegetation for extended periods. ERA Record: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/media.jsf?eraId=68 This model was created in September 2019 from 8 stereo pairs captured by Joe Gibson in March 2007. The imagery formed part of the ERA / NADRAP archive.
