Stargate Nightlight Infinity Mirror

Stargate Nightlight Infinity Mirror

This is a night light/infinity mirror (actually a pretty poor infinity effect, given the level of lighting involved, but it works a bit) based on cooldudie2's Stargate model. You'll need: --Semi-reflective window film --A mirror surface which can be cut to size. You can search the 'Zon for cuttable/flexible mirror. --A night light from which you can remove the shade. --Glue suitable to holding it all together, like CYA. Print the models and paint as desired. The port at the bottom to put the light through is about 2 cm across; scale as necessary if you need more or less room. Cut circles of the film and the mirror about 63mm in diameter. Glue the mirror to the inside back of this model and the semireflective film to the back of the Stargate model, then attach the back of the Stargate to the rim of this model. You can add a bluish layer (theatrical gel, tinted epoxy, etc.); I find it best to put it in front of the film, not behind. Finally, attach the light base (remove any shade or cover) to the Stargate body and plug it in.
