Wet Palette

Wet Palette

myminifactory

A wet palette for painting designed to fit sponge pads that are 18x20cm. Easy print, no support required. Use several top and bottom layers, print in PETG, or use a sealant (epoxy resin, polyurethane, acrylic clear-coat spray, etc.) to avoid any moisture seepage. It is not designed to be completely airtight, the concept allows the paint to naturally replenish lost moisture. Using a wet palette should keep your paints fresh for days to weeks depending on your local climate. Two lid versions are provided, with DaVinci self-portrait and plain. 1) Print a Lid, Frame, and Base. 2) Place sponge pad in base (after any sealer has cured), 3) Add a sheet of parchment/baking paper (unwaxed) and press frame in to prevent edges from curling. 4) Add clean water slowly until pad is saturated and paper surface is slick. 5) Add paints and create!
