Hi, i had to take this sort of sideways post to let you know that i have moved much of my work to https://www.wargaming3d.com/vendor/deweycatproductions/ This doesn't change my love of the hobby and desire to share with the community. Every file that was created as a derivative or a re-work is loaded there for free download. My original work is there as well; much of it too is free but some of the .stls are for sale. i do test print (repeatedly) of my work to ensure it will print properly. I incur costs that are more than just my time. I don't think $3 to $5 for an .stl is out of line, considering the time and expense to create them. Thingiverse is a great sharing site, but the administrators have not taken any efforts to protect creators, and the recent DMCA attacks have proven this. I have tried to communicate with Thingiverse but they have not even had the courtesy of responding to my emails. I hope you will continue to interact with me. I have more stuff coming up in development. ... such as the attached file is a soviet Maxim MMG, which I created to mount on the bed of a soviet truck. there is a recess under the post to install a short length of paper clip. use a pin drill on the truck bed to make a matching hole. This allows an easy way to add and remove an MMG when you employ a truck as a soviet player. Thanks Marc / Deweycat
