Where the Sidewalk Ends

I have many fond memories of Shel Silversteins's writings, so I wanted to try to make the cover art in 3D. The largest part of this model is hollow to keep it lightweight. There is a hole in the back to hang it from a nail. All parts should be glued together as needed, including the base and the edge. You will need supports for the kids and the dog. NO supports are needed for the base. ----- There is a place where the sidewalk ends And before the street begins, And there the grass grows soft and white, And there the sun burns crimson bright, And there the moon-bird rests from his flight To cool in the peppermint wind. Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black And the dark street winds and bends.
