I've attempted to recombine the sliced in half models from Mag-nets excellent model. For those of us with SLA printers it might be preferable to print the whole model with supports rather than halves. I think the merges are pretty seamless, though I'm very new to modeling (used Meshmixer to combine, smooth, and resolidify the parts). I've also recombined the whole base allowing people to reslice however they prefer. I've left it hollow to where the "edge" crack is, for SLA printing if done whole it would need drains. I've removed the little nubbin near the bottom swell of the base, and while I see where it came from in the book cover, but without more of them it seemed unusual on its own. Lastly, I've done a very amateurish modification of Fureons remix of the sign with lettering. I've flattened the back of the main sign portion, and sculpted a somewhat curved section behind the sign board, where it attaches to horizontal pieces. I'm hoping I can print it flat with no supports now, previously its overhangs were too severe.
