Attract swarms of tiny nymphs, pixies, and fae to your garden with ease with this whimsical fairy garden kit. Harvest them for their magic, or just watch them frolic. It's up to you! Includes everything you need for your very own fairy garden. I found some really great miniature furniture here in the thingiverse, but most of it was so intricate that I had trouble printing it. It was also very realistic, and my wife wanted something more whimsical and fairy-tale-ish for her fairy gardens. So I made all of this. Included in this kit: bridge - large enough for a small stream or babbling brook. picket fencing - interlocks so you can print and connect as much as you need, in straight lines, curves, or corners. a table for lovely tea parties. set of four chairs set of two benches assorted flower pots assorted barrels bird bath - with spike to stake it in the ground bird house wheelbarrow with real working wheel shovel One-Sixteenth scale. All of the models are approximately 1/16th scale. This fits well with the 6 inch tall action figures, as seen in the pictures, and is compatible with most of the commercially available fairy garden supplies out there that I've seen. Most of them should print just fine scaled down to 1/24 or 1/32 if you so desire, but they would get quite fragile. You also get a bonus gazebo. I haven't tried to print it because it's too big for my printer. If anyone prints one, I would love to see how it comes out! Also suitable for doll houses and such. Instructions Print as much or as little of the set as you like. Prepare a fairy garden by gathering small rocks and mosses and such, and arrange them in an inviting fashion. Nurseries and garden supply stores will have an assortment of miniature plants that will work well in the garden. Many people use blue colored fish tank rocks to create water features. Get creative! Once the garden is complete, the waiting game begins. Fae are very elusive creatures and you may not see any right away. Return each day to tend and water your plants. Even if you don't see any magical creatures, they may leave behind gifts for you. If you don't spy any after a few days, try sprinkling some glitter around the garden. The fae like shiny things. Note: I made an effort to design all of this so the need for supports would be minimal, but you will almost certainly need some support for most of these parts. Everything you see here was printed in ABS at 0.3mm layer height. To print the bridge on the UpPlus2, I had to rotate it 45 degrees to make it fit.
