If your cat like to drag food out of their bowl to eat it, or leaves food around the edges or just never empties their bowl, it's probably not because they're a picky eater. It may be that your furry friend's whiskers are hitting the edges of the bowl, making feeding time a very uncomfortable experience. This bowl is intended to combat that. It's wide and shallow to prevent whiskers hitting it. The ridges are intended to prevent food from being pushed out of the bowl during the normal course of feeding - they're not always successful though :-) It's not the only one on Thingiverse, but I've been using this design for some time with good results.
