***This is a simple magnet holder for Whiteboard Marker (STAEDTLER) Using two 10x2.2 mm magnets.*** **I designed this holder to have a simple and low profile magnetic holder for my whiteboard markers.** **It holds on to the cap, so your hands are cap-free while writing.** **Settings:** - PLA+ - 0.6mm nozzle - 0.6mm extrusion width - 0.2mm layer height - 3 Shells - No suppports (bridging works fine) - 25% infill (doesn't matter) - skirt **Slicer tweaks:** To optimize the ugly layer mark that most people have when pausing mid-print. (Occurs due to outer Shell not being printed completely.) - Deactivated: “Force Retraction when moving to outer shell” - changed the printing order to: Infill→InnerShell→OuterShell **Another (easier) option** that also works would be to print multiple holders at the same time, so just one has the ugly layer mark. **Installing the magnets during print:** I stopped at 3.02mm (in my case layer 15) and inserted the magnets. Then I completed the print One holder prints in 16 minutes and uses 2.7g of filament **Installing the holder after print:** Its a pretty snug fit onto the cap of the marker.
