Why Always Me Dice Game

Why Always Me Dice Game

This is my version of the Why Always Me (Warum immer ich) dice game. Most versions of this game have either 6 holes or 12 holes, but not both. My version can be played with only a few people (6 holes) or a lot of people (12 holes). The game screws onto a pint Ball jar which can be used to store the instructions, the dice, and all the colorful pegs when not in use. This is an excellent game for two or more people to play during the COVID-19 quarantine. It will also be a great gift for friends and family. The game lid was printed with wood PLA for the lid and red and blue PLA for the numbers. The color of the numbers was designed to match the color of the dice to be used. If you use normal PLA for the lid, it does not need to be printed with a 0.6mm nozzle and the numbers will likely come out even better. Be sure to print the numbers before printing the wood lid to make the numbers come out clean. I borrowed the Ball jar threads from someone on Thingiverse. Unfortunately, that specific model does not seem to be available any longer, so I cannot give credit to the author. I printed the pegs in multiple colors even though the game does not require it. It is just a lot more fun with all the different colors. Five pegs per player are required, so print as many as you want. I printed 11 different colors with 5 pegs each to play at home. The pegs are printed from normal PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 3 perimeters, 5 solid layers on top and bottom, and 30% infill. They print vertically with no raft or support of any kind. I have printed 1, 5, 20, and 35 pegs at a time. The rules are in the PDF file. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/h8zwSig84hF The dice can be found anywhere. I found them in sets of 12 at Game Kastle for only a few dollars. With a total of 24 dice, you can print 8 games. Just print four games with red numbers 2-12 and blue number 1-6 and then print four games with red numbers 1-6 and blue numbers 2-12 to use up all the dice. Give the other seven games away as gifts.
