UPDATE 25.05.2017 improved version incl. 23.5mm boreholes and wider opening for motor wires. Chamfered and more stronger design. Original 123D Design also included. UPDATE 02.08.2016 Uploaded a new V2 version with optimized holes for motor wires. This is a simple motor mount for an HobbyKing "Wicked Wing" flying wing. Mounting recommendations: Designed to be "slided" onto the wing, with minor pressure. Just use some Epoxy or other glue of choice on the big flat upper and lower surfaces to make a rock solid joint. In case you are gonna break this thing (maybe by using straight propellers, instead of folding ones) please make your thoughts on the gluing topic, to may be able to remove this mount without destroying your wing. Technical details: Line of thrust is 0° mounting plate is 40x40mm no holes included in the design, you just need to drill your own opening holes for motor/ESC cabeling included Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Malyan M150 (Mendel style Prusa i3) Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30 Notes: Optimized for 0.4 nozzles, as some walls are 0.8mm thick. I would recommend printing this part in ABS or PETG or any other (more) temperature resistant filament. For ABS i did used 8mm brims, as some warping occurred in my first printing attempts.
