Wide Angle PI Camera Mount

Had a lot of trouble finding a camera mount that would work for my Lulzbot Mini 2. I originally wanted a bed mount camera for time lapses but after putting together my enclosure from PrintedSolid, I found that the bed mounted camera idea was not going to work at all. I also found that the normal camera mounts had to be modified for my wide angle camera. It was at this time that I decided that I needed to design my own. I took the diamond ball peg design ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:247590 ) and moved it around to work with the enclosure that I found ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1286420 ) for the wide angle camera. Then I started laying out how things would be connected and trying to see about how tall it would be. After designing the foot (what a pain that was to try and change the ball mount design to a foot) I found that it should be roughly like 100mm tall (edit: found the smaller links where too small so updated my files to use the longer ones ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:247590 ) so now it's approx 10-20mm taller) ; so I think it will sit just above the bed level when done. You will need two screws to hold the bottom links together, but that should be the only additional hardware you need. I used 2 M3x20 screws and 2 M3 nuts. ____________________________________ Just finished printing this, found that the ball was too loose in pla so I just used some of my super glue with insti-set and some painters tape for the ribbon to secure it. (used velcro at the base in case I ever replace it with something not made of PLA. Also, I had an old back from one of my other attempts so I just used some painters tape on it since it was loose.
