Wide Microphone Suspension Shock Mount

Wide Microphone Suspension Shock Mount

thingiverse

Designed to replace the included mount for Neewer's Adjustable Recording Microphone Suspension Boom Scissor Arm to enable use of wider microphones like my Audio-technica ATR2500-USB. If you have a shock mount you can use the original rubber bands but you can also use regular rubber bands so long as they are stretched to enough tension. Note: This is a second revision of the concept, as my original design was very bulky. Reduced weight at the "cost" of robustness but with minimal downside, my tests have to lead to the conclusion that the current thickness is more than enough to retain structural integrity even when rubber bands are tensioned and the mount is supporting a mic. If you need an adaptation for a specific mount, please let me know, we can work together to edit the model to best suit your needs. Just please don't use this for commercial purposes. :D Thanks for checking this project. Have a great day!
