Parabolic reflector increases gain of WiFi whip antennas by 4 to 6 dB. Use sheet metal 160mm x length of your whip antenna plus the supports in this project to create reflector. I wrapped edges with electrical tape to make safe and also increase edge thickness. The extra thickness makes wedging into top and bottom support groove easier. Middle support can be affixed with glue or more tape. Once assembled, slip over whip antenna. Keep antenna vertical and rotate reflector to desired direction.
