This awesome trophy was created for the 'World Interiors News Annual Awards' in London 2013. For the event, the Saatchi Gallery in London played host to the most distinguished figures in architecture and design at the inaugural World Interiors News Annual Awards ceremony on the 28th November 2013. Over 300 attendees from across the globe joined art historian, broadcaster and presenter for the evening, Andrew Graham-Dixon to recognise the designs that have helped shape the material and cultural landscape over the past year.   About the design - 'Due to the diversity of categories [at the World Interiors News Annual awards] it was necessary to find some way of representing them all in a significant way, to find some common theme. `Inspiration` was chosen as it encompasses all creative pursuit. The concept of the head was arrived to after a process seeking to materialise inspiration as a tangible yet abstract form. The clean and sharp edges modeled after the streamline movement serve to construct a face devoid of expression and gender to better represent humans as a whole and not one group over another; to serve as a vessel for inspiration and creativity. Within which  I decided to include representative shapes and forms that symbolise the fields to differentiate the awards by categories, abstract shapes were chosen for this purpose as I thought that obvious forms might oversimplify the fields and patronise, I chose to experiment with negative space for this purpose as these forms were to be placed inside cavities cut into the vessel.'
