I created this effective wind turbine to fit a 42 stepper motors.. In my setup I use 4240 size and it is working great. I still need to calculate wattage but it starts spins really well. I reshaped the blades from Yerai(I think he has the most accurate design of a real turbine).. If you want you can fully 3D print everyhing(but I recommend real 6202 bearings to maximize efficiency) - all you need is a motor and rectifier(you can print a box to fit it inside). The outer diamiter of base has a 69 fi which I fitted on a 70mm pvc pipe. I also included bearing to print if you want a rotating base. But my spot(urban area) has alot of turbulent winds - so fixed base is more effective. The multiplicator is 3:1 - to generate more voltage at lower speeds of the blades.. That is why I created many spinners so you can decide how many blades you will fit. Generaly fewer blades reach higher speeds and more blades generate more torque and have smaller end speed... So basicaly the bigger the motor - more blades you should fit. You need to print: 1x motor mount reductor 1x 16T spur gear (whichever you preffer) 3-9x Blade parts 1-3 1x spinner (wichever you need) other things are optional when fitting motor I only used the bottom 2 screws and make sure that shaft is not too long to hit the blade.
