Window frame screw hole cover

A simple cover for the mounting screw holes in window / door frames. Since we only got white covers with our custom painted frames from the manufacturer.

I was planning to make these a bit bellows shaped so it can expand/contract a bit to adapt to hole tolerance, but the first test print of a simple 16mm cylinder worked perfectly, so I kept it as-is. Your mileage may vary.

As a side-note, take care of manufacturers selling filament claimed to be a specific RAL / NCS color - it may be spot on or wildly inaccurate.

The Sketchup model is scaled up 10 times, since Sketchup can become unhappy working with small models. Just scale it down before exporting or when printing. The STL file is already correct size. Also, the Sketchup model has to be rotationally extruded before export. I saved it that way since it's easy to extrude but hard to revert. So just select the circle and do a Follow Me on the profile.

I recommend e.g PETG for the additional flexibility over PLA.

Printed with a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height on a Prusa Mini in the (poor quality) pictures. It came out so-so, but it's pretty much only the bottom layer that's visible anyway.
