The story behind this thing: A friend of mine lost the cap of his Nissan Primera's windshield washer reservoir so he kindly asked me if I could replace the original with a printed one. Sounded like a good challenge, so I accepted it! The cap is made out of three parts: a lower and an upper cap body and a spring in the middle, which keeps the cap on the reservoir's inlet. If you want to dismount the cap, just push the side of the spring and it will release the inlet. The cap was designed for the following inlet dimensions: - inlet seat diameter: D 58,45 mm - inlet pipe diameter: D 56,10 mm Mind the following instructions! - you should print all parts out of ABS since the cap must withstand serious heatload - the two body parts should be bonded to each other with the spring part in the middle. You can use super glue or ABS slurry - spring print orientation: use the flat face of the spring as the first layer P.S.: I know that I could have printed out the whole cap as one part, but since I had to experiment a bit with the spring, the three part assembly was the best choice.
