thingiverse

This is a metric version of the old "A-Justo-Jig" concept. Rib support rods are 5mm carbon fibre at 50mm centres and the main tube is 16mm aluminium with base tube of 25mm square aluminium. The central dihedral bracket is 3mm aluminium angle, 280mm long. The 5mm bolt slots are 10mm from the ends giving up to 8 degrees dihedral angle per side. Only one angle bracket is needed at 3mm thick but add the second side if using a lighter gauge. All bolts are 5mm diameter, 30 to 40mm long with wing nuts, plain and split washers. Fuselage adaptors are also included with optional 25mm square tube adaptors allowing them to make a separate jig. The side bars can also be cascaded to add length or cater for compound shapes. The Openscad files are included so you can adjust to suit local material and tolerances. Print Settings Printer: Own design Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 to 0.25mm layer height Infill: 10 to 25% infill Notes: Basic parts print, no difficult pieces or overhangs.
