winter sled challenge entry
My design features custom pivoting hardware attached to conventional skis. It is the only sled design (that I'm aware of) that would allow the user to ski the sled down the slope in the same way a person on skis can. I believe this would allow a great deal more control, safety and fun for the person sledding. The hardware is of a very simple design and yet would allow for a plus or minus 40.00 degree control range on the runners/skis.
