ATTENTION! I built this customized holder and it fits perfect in height. Unfortuanally I did not mentioned the belt is mounted upside down :( So, after disassembling my prusa i3 and setting up a new Y-carriage i had to make a provisored mount to get my printer working again. So... THIS IS NOT WORKING ATM As i am modifiing my Prusa i3 to have a more stable build carriage i made a customized version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:23882 I modified it with OpenSCAD (quick and dirty) to have a more robust and higher holder, fitting a Prusa i3 acrylic version. I think they should also work on the steel version. The provided files are for T2.5 belts and can be easily modified for other belts too, Huge thanks to John Newman for this design! The parts: retainer_tensioner is ment for tensioning the belt. holder is ment for clamping the belt and fixating it with a simple m3 screw without piercing the belt.
