Wire shelf hook

Wire shelf hook

thingiverse

I created these hooks for my wire shelves because I wanted something smaller for stuff like keys and flash drives and whatever other stuff. They also don't pull off and sit at a weird angle like the hooks that came with my shelf do when I yank my keys off at a less than perfect angle. My wire shelves are 31.3mm tall on the edge and the top and bottom wires are 6.7mm in diameter. If you have a shelf with those dimensions, this hook will fit. This hook will of course also fit smaller dimensions, but it won't be a nice just barely snug fit. I printed with 2 walls and 15% infill but you can probably get away with 0% infill just fine if you aren't hanging heavy stuff from it. I was able to pull downward with 30 lbs without breaking a hook printed with PLA, but that was probably near the limit, so long term it's probably good for about 5lbs.
