These guide rings press fit into the channels of any 20mm aluminum extrusion, and help organize your wire paths. The green looks really nice when using black PET expandable sleeving :) . Instructions The scad file allows you to set the thickness and the ring size. I find that between 12mm and 20mm is the most useful ring size, and the thickness of between 5 and 10mm is useful depending upon what kind of wire you are routing. The current stl file has one each of a .5" (12.5mm) and .75" (19mm) samples at 10mm thick. I use PLA for this, as it is stiffer than ABS, but I suspect ABS would be fine. The "clip" part of the scad file is actually separate from the ring (and unioned to it), so you could actually replace the ring part with any useful shape, for attaching stuff to an extrusion (e.g. a split ring, so that you don't have to pre-thread all the wires). Let me know what variations you come up with.
