I designed this wall mounted shelf so I could still have my WiFi AP (Ubiquiti U6-Pro in this case) mounted near the ceiling but without having to drill holes in the ceiling. I designed it so that I could also mount an AP on the top of the shelf (ie, mounted in the basement ceiling to broadcast the signal up to the first floor).

I mounted the shelf to the wall with 3M Command Strips. I would have mounted the AP on the ceiling with the strips but they aren't kind on a textured surface and have destroyed them before.

The shelf is 200 mm in diameter. This might be enough space for the larger APs out there? In case others want to do a remix I've included the .step file too.

I intentionally did not add any AP bracket mount holes to the design as depending on the AP the mount holes may be in different places. I used bolts to mount my AP's mounting plate but I could have also used 3M Command Strips I suspect.

I wanted this to print as fast as possible so I printed it with a .8 nozzle with the following settings in Prusa Slicer:

Print Settings: 0.55 DRAFT

Filament: eSUN PLA PRO (PLA+)

Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK3S+

Infill: 10%

Perimeters: 8 (Makes it stronger! But with using a .8 nozzle and PLA +/Pro this many perimeters might be overkill.)

Variable Layer Height: Adaptive (Quality/Speed: 0.50)

Sharing this in case someone else might have a need for something like this. Enjoy!
