This is a series of parts to replace the stock pommel, hilt, and handle of a synthetic rawlings fencing longsword. I have also included the top and bottom furniture pieces for construction of a scabbard. This is not a complete sword! I make no promises for how well these parts will hold up to prolonged sparring. They are intended for stage combat and/or cosplay. What you need: Sword: Rawlings Sparring Longsword An M8 Nut Two Part Expoxy Leather and waxed cord (Optional) Scabbard: Tape or Glue Large sheet of thin cardboard. Fiberglass resin (Optional) How to assemble the sword: Glue the M8 Nut to the inside of the desired pommel. For wrapped handle: Glue the top and bottom of the "witcher_waisted_v3" files to eachother at the matching part of form a "ring" around a waisted hilt. Wrap the handle in leather and sew the leather together, I suggest a baseball stitch. For unwrapped handle use: "Witcher_waisted_thick". You may want to split it in the center and print it as two pieces as I did for the witcher_waisted_v3 files. Slide the hilt, handle, and screw in the pommel. You're done! How to assemble the scabbard: Wrap the rawlings longsword with cardboard tightly and tape or glue the cardboard to form the sheath. Optional, but strongly suggested: Give the scabbards 2-3 coats of fiberglass resin. Wrap the scabbard in cloth and sew the cloth around the scabbard. Glue the Witcher_tip_v5.stl to the bottom of the scabbard, and Witcher_scabbard_v3.stl to the top of the scabbard. Be sure to test fit the completed sword to the scabbard between each step of the process! Note: the Scabbards are interchangeable between swords.
