These lattice structures from WITHIN are the most amazing 3D Printed objects I have seen. Their use in Aerospace is untapped. This material can be "grown" to withstand predetermined forces. This one shown weighs 12 grams and can support my 180 lb body weight without issue. Also, the design is engineered to allow for stiffness in one direction, with flex and torsional twisting in another. Best part is that is it made from recycled nylon.
