No glueing necessary, but doesn't hurt either. Had best results with soft TPU (Shore 83A), everything above will be to stiff) and the 1.8mm thick wall version. The 0.8mm version was a test for medium hard TPU (98A shore), but the soft TPU Version worked way better and is easier to handle. It is pretty loud, almost too loud when hitting it hard, therefore it can be operated pretty effortless and the most important part. Corona free! ;-) Demonstration: https://youtu.be/91V0C-m2Ed0
