This is a housing for a 3ch receiver for WLtoys 10428A RC Crawler. My original electronics took 10 minutes of snow drive to fail, so I had to replace it. This unit is receiver only, it is made for standard 3-pin servo. The unit has not been tested for any length of time, so you are using this on your own risk. Turn on the transmitter (Tx). Turn on the receiver. Long-press "BIND" on the Tx. The Rx should bind to the Tx. Relese the BIND button after a few seconds. You should be bound. Check the steering is working smoothly. Remember to remove bind plug. Fail-safe: Sets throttle to 90° (not trim value) and keeps other channels last values. Also I removed the reset button on my Arduino Pro Mini clone. Please note the Pro Mini is "SMD" soldered, I do not use wires. The housing now clicks together, no glue necessary. Range is not huge, about 30~40m depends on orientation. The firmware is the same. The channel sequence is the same: - steering - throttle - gear - bind Fail safe is also the same. 30.4.2018: V3 of the housing. I realised I was playing a dangerous game by having one of the pins press on the MCU, so I changed the design. All holding pins now touch only the PCBs.
