***This wing fits the stock shock tower. It does not fit the wltoys upgrade shock tower. *** ***This is a remix of this design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4745930. Not able to get the remix option in thingiverse to work.*** ***I accidentally drove the car off a footstool today and the car nose dived straight into the hard floor taking a direct hit on the front wing and it suffered no damage at all so it may well be stronger than I gave it credit for.I also rolled the car into the grass off of pavement and no damage from that either. *** I remixed this in Tinkercad using a naca swept wing split so the top side of the wing is flat and the underside carries the wing shape. The wing is angled approximately 15 degrees in the nose cone. Actual angle of attack will vary depending on car setup and installation (droop screw, spring settings etc). This is not a wing for bashing as it's intended to be printed in a hard filament so that it is functional aerodynamically. I printed in Sunlu Petg with 15% infill. I printed using a raft and with the wing oriented as shown in the stl file with support touching build plate. First try without the raft led to each end of the wing lifting slightly. With raft it was perfect the whole way through the print. The top mounting holes use a 5mm long m3 standoff in between the printed part and the shock tower, you could print some if you don't have any standoffs. I did have to drill the two holes on the shock tower with a 3mm bit to fit the m3 bolts. The bottom mounts go where the stock miniscule bumper is. I heated that part with a heat gun before i tightened down the top bolts to allow it to flex and then stay in a relaxed mounting after it cooled.
