***If you like the wing and print it feel free to leave a tip. Feel free to also print it if you don't though. I'm just happy if you enjoy it*** ***04/28/21 The file named 3 element fr wing aoa chng, has about 6 degrees less angle of attack on the wing and has added little spreaders mid wing that make the wing much easier to print as they help the filament bridge the first layers of the leading edge while printing. I recommend printing this one*** This wing fits the stock shock tower. It does not fit the wltoys upgrade shock tower. This is a remix of this design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4745930. I'm not able to get the remix option in thingiverse to work.*** I designed this wing in Tinkercad using the extrusion shape tool to create the airfoil shape for the wings. When mounting the wing to the car I get the top two bolts started (you have to drill out the holes in the shock tower to 3mm for the m3 bolts to fit.) and then get the bottom to start slotting in. It's useful to loosen the two screws behind the front two that the mount attaches to. It makes it easier to slide the bottom in. At this point slowly screw in the top two bolts while making sure the bottom mount isn't binding. I use a hot air gun at around 210F to heat the bottom part slightly so it slides all the way in and molds to the slight angle in the chassis there. Put locknuts on the top to bolts and redo the screws on the bottom and don't forget to re-tighten the two you loosened behind. Printed with Sainsmart Petg 240 Nozzle and 70 bed using a raft and support touching build plate which only supports the mounting holes. If you choose not to use a raft the small contact area of the wing with the bed will likely make it lift and warp. It's not a bad idea to add a custom support against the base for better stability but I forgot to and it came out fine. If you are not confident in your bridging you may want to enable supports everywhere to support each wing element. I ended up printing without support everywhere and my printer bridged the start of each wing element fine. ***I recommend printing this with 4 walls and 15% infill.***
