I designed this locked rear differential for the WLToys K9X9 to use crown gears from cheap robot gear kits available online. The crown gear is sandwiched between the main differential body and cup. 0.5mm shims are also 3d printed to help set the gear mesh. I am currently using 2 shims on the drive side. You will need a 1x M2 16mm screw through the cup, into the crown gear and then the main body. Applying some CA glue to the mating surfaces will also help to ensure that the differential stays locked. You may need to sand the cups down to fit the bearings if your 3D printer tolerances are not tight. I am currently running a 30t crown gear with 14t pinion to give a CS ratio of 1.63 and it works pretty well. Printed at 0.1mm layer height with 5 perimeters and 100% infill for strength.
