Originally designed as a fishtank ornament for a black/white themed aquarium. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN 3D PRINTING FOR PETS. You may want to use natural PLA for this, because dyes in the filament can be harmful. Please contact the manufacturer of your filament with safety questions. If this is going to be for an aquarium, I recommend following the post printing steps below. Also, let the print sit in a bucket of water for a couple days to let it release any chemicals it does contain. DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for any injuries or deaths caused to pets by this model. I have researched and presented safety guidelines, but ultimately YOU CHOOSE WHAT TO DO. Print Settings Printer: Polar 3d Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .3 mm Infill: 15% Notes: Print with few bottom layers so that you can easily break a hole into the infill to flood the print. You may need to insert some sort of weight to sink this to the bottom of your tank. Post-Printing Remove Supports Be careful, mine printed with a LOT of support... Paint I used acrylic paints (cream for the skull, black for the base) Nailpolish Yep, cover in clear nail polish to protect the paint and your fish. My paint started peeling in areas I didn't cover well.
