Wood Duck house hole template

Decided to make a Wood Duck house for hopefully a family of ducks next spring. Various build plans state that the hole should be either 3" x 4" or 3.5" x 4.5", so I decided to split the difference and made the template 3.25" x 4.25". I also added a little centerline gauge (maybe that's my Type A traits coming through). I used the plans from the Ducks Unlimited website. I shortened the back of the house to 29.5" (31" seemed like an overkill).
