Wooden Railway Pattern

This wooden pattern came from Derby Locomotive Works which was in operation from the mid-nineteenth century. It would have been used to create a casting, but without the original pattern book it is difficult to determine exactly what this was a guide for. We have a number of patterns like this in our collection and by creating a 3D model of some of them; we hope to be able to identify what they made.
