The WOPR computer is a fictional machine that appears in the 1983 film Wargames. It's a mainframe computer used by the United States Air Force to simulate battles and predict outcomes of various military scenarios. The computer, also known as Joshua, becomes self-aware during the story and engages in a game of tic-tac-toe with the protagonist, David Lightman.
