Workmate holddown (hold-down) dog. This is a dog that fits 20mm holes and accepts a 8x13mm holddown clamp. Shown is the original orange dog it replaces. The fit is nice and snug and since the printing leaves ridges along the Z-axis, the friction is large between both the workmate and clamp (which is also ribbed). I did not simply duplicate the original but instead improved the design. Mine has a circular top with hexagon relief to make dog extraction easier. It is printed in PLA and hence is more brittle than say ABS. Thus, the retainer ring is smaller and requires no supports.
