WorkSharp Precision Adjust abrasive holder

<p>The WorkSharp Precision Adjust is a nice idea, and works great for most knives. But its three-sided abrasive carrier might not reach all the way to the hilt-end of the knife edge, and you may want to go finer than the 600 grit that comes standard with the machine.</p> <p>You can use any grit you like with this holder, adhered to the face with 3M Feathering Disc Adhesive Type II #08051 (This is supposedly hard to get, but I found it at <a href="https://www.amazon.com?linkCode=ll2&amp;tag=thingiverse09-20&amp;linkId=e4759bff1fa9a55a0f897d801ce2d765&amp;language=en_US&amp;ref_=as_li_ss_tl">Amazon</a> with no drama.</p> <p>I made two lengths, one 110 mm (the length of the original carrier) and the other 92-ish (the width of the abrasive sheets I bought).</p> <p>I printed a bunch of them; although the adhesive allows you to peel the strips of abrasive off and stick on the next finest, it's handier to have the whole range available.</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Prusa</p> <p class="detail-setting printer"><strong>Printer: </strong> <div><p>i3 MK2.5</p></div> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.2</p> <p class="detail-setting infill"><strong>Infill: </strong> <div><p>20%</p></div> <p><strong>Filament:</strong> Generic PETG (or PLA) Any</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>I used PETG because that's what was in the printer, but PLA should work as well</p></div> </p></p></p> Category: Tools
