The Boxx Heat Sink is a simple, Utilitarian design that follows the form of many of the parts that can be found in electronics or heat exchangers. The design cues are based on modern aluminum heat sinks found in amps, car engines etc. * The sides are formed from brushed aluminum sheet metal, the top "fins" are formed in sheet metal and front would either be injection molded plastic or better yet, solid machined aluminum for that premium feel. There is a front panel that hides all the buttons, when closed, it provides a completely minimalist look and helps keep everything true to the design form. The top grab handles would allow for easy transport and would be made from hollow aluminum tubing and left raw or coated in chrome. The underside has two aluminum sliders attached to the metal framing. They can left raw for moving on carpeted areas or felt can be added for hard wood floors protection. **note This form is somewhat similar to one or two other design entries, but I feel my design and presentation is different enough to differentiate it from the rest. I started working on this design beginning of April, I would have posted it sooner but due to some unforeseen health issues, I was delayed. My other designs can be found here: "The Arrow Bell" Workstation: Arrow Bell "Aqueous Quo" Workstation: "Aqueous Quo" "The Cage" Workstation: BOXX the cage "The Clock Tower" Workstation: Boxx clock tower as usual, thanks for checking out my designs!
