Worm compost bin

Worm compost bin

The goal was to make a 3D printable product that would allow anyone to start their own worm farm on a small scale. These farms are used to generate worm castings which are an excellent fertilizer. This fertilizer can then be used around the home in a potted or small garden to grow food. The best part is the worms eat most green waste and break it down so the unfinished fruit and vegetables just go back into the bin for the worms to eat. Instructions Designed in Solid Works as a quick prototype concept. Unable to test print myself until repairs are made thus this is a WIP. Print one Base and drain stopper. The base supports are optional but could be useful (would need to print four). The intermediary levels are used for sifting and helping the worms migrate so the castings can be collected. Three intermediary levels would need to be printed, two stacked onto the base and one kept aside for migration. Only on top is needed and is used to keep bugs out.
