Introducing the Wormhole Emitter or Tachyon Field Generator from the BTTF Time Machine! This is all the parts to scale so you can print and build your own, without having to get an expensive resin version. Some assembly and painting will be required, and you can even add lights inside that glow when the generator is activated! Some drilling, gluing and painting will be required. Also, you'll need to get the rubber mat that's used for the handgrip area and add that yourself. This was modeled in Autodesk Inventor, then finalized in Fusion 360. If you're going to print this at Shapeways or the like, the measurement units are in inches. If you’re using Cura, you will need to scale the model up by 25.4 percent to get the correct size, as this was exported in inches, and Cura works in mm. I modeled off of photos of the actual screen-used prop that had rulers next to it, so it's almost pretty accurate, as some stuff I had to eyeball. I decided to model this for my own DeLorean, because I didn't want to pay $500 bucks for a resin cast version.
