Note: Crew not included! Update 2: I've added a .zip-folder with files for resin printing. The hull, periscope and several other parts are preassembled into one-piece subassemblies which should make assembly a bit easier. Update 1: I accidentally uploaded a faulty version of the gun compartment which has been fixed by now. Here's some SPG for use with any scifi or steampunk tabletop wargames. I designed this one for my Grimdark Future HDF army but you may find it also useful for other games. I have designed the Wotan to be FDM-friendly. I might upload another version for resin printers at some point, but for now I'm happy with it as it is. Some parts need multiple copies and are labelled Wotan_PartXY_2x, for ecample, meaning you'll need to print to copies of that particular part. Other parts need a mirrored copy and thus are desginated _mirror at their name's end. Although you'll want to print multiple copies of the shells, I haven't set a fixed numer. I was able to squeeze 18 rounds into the fighting compartment, but you might want to experiment a little bit here. I suggest printing at least 12 units. The most tricky part to print may be the radio unit because of its flimsy frames. If they don't print properly on your printer, you can fix the frames with some bent paperclip pieces. I'm currently making some sketches of items I might eventually include into an accessory pack, suited for all my vehicle designs, but this will take a serious while. If you feel the exterior of the Wotan looks a bit bland, feel free to add some greeblies on your own. Some gauze bandaging dipped in diluted PVA glue works wonders as camo netting. Now for a bit of fluff: Another design based upon the NIebelung's faithful MPCP (Multi-Purpose Combat Platform) is the Wotan SPG. It mounts a modified Schwerer Heinrich 150mm cannon on the armoured and highly mobile chassis it shares with the Baldur APC, the Sigurd MBT and numerous other vehicles. The Schwerer Heinrich's shells' weight requires the shells to be seperated into the explosive head and the propellant units to be still man-handled. The limited space of a SPG required a different approach, so the gun was altered to accept single-piece munitions with a reduced propellant which would mean a severly reduced range. To overcome this, the barrel was significantly lengthened in comparison to the standard Schwerer Heinrich.
