UPDATE 2: i wanna give a suggestion on print settings, i made this shell 1.4mm thick. so if you make the walls 0.7 it wont try to make infill at all, it will just be solid. it worked perfect for me when i printed it. i printed it rough and fast. OK UPDATE: i have realized that the batterybox hits the rear on the inside, a quick fix for this is that it have incluted rear sections With HoleForBatteryBox, this is a quick fix, it could be covered up with a bumper for example, On My Vanbuild im just gonna cut 4mm of the batterybox because im not gonna use the batterybox anyway. New files uploaded. the old ones are still there. First of all. This is NOT a finished product, It is NOT perfect, Its missing Many details that could be added, It is a Work In Progress. So what is this, this is what i like to call the FreeVan project. what ive done here is i have thrown together a quick van conversion for your D12, It Will fit on your d12. just remove the original bed, trim of the mount pegs for the black bar that goes on the back window. some minor trimming may be needed at the bottom of the cab for it to sit better with the vanbody. the floor is strange shaped to fig on the chassis. it will fit but it looks ugly on the inside. the roof has a curve to it towards the rear, this is intentional so it will flow better with the cab. i have split up the body, i cut the rear of to save print-time. I printed it standing up like a barrel, with brim and support"everywhere", it will need support in windows and stuff. i recommend lines or similar thats really easy to remove. I have also included a version without door and side windows. I have also included a version with the door in place on TINY pegs for fixation, the idea is that this could possibly be printed with the door in place and then you would just cut the pegs and poke the door out, THIS ONE I HAVE NOT TESTED TO PRINT THO DO AT YOUR OWN RISK, MAKE SURE YOU GET SUPPORT IN THE GAP. I have also included STEP files. yes you heard it, and what i would love to see is other people making their own improvements/conversions. for example it could use some trim, details, maybe a rail for the sliding door, the rear door dont really exist and so on, bumper, license plate mount, the list goes on.. and if you do so, please consider uploading it here. it would be lovely if this could be something we could all build on and improve. Final words, please dont sell this, ive seen my bodykits and stuff on multiple websites now and it wast my idea when uploading free stuff here. and if you have questions or wanna show of your build come to facebook and official wpl d12 group, find "micke hesselgren"
