WTD Weiss Distribution Technique Tool - 10 parallel needles - Icosidodecahedron

This is a Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT) tool for de-clumping finely ground coffee. It requires 10 acupuncture needles, 0.3 or 0.4mm diameter. There are two parts that screw together. I've included two versions of the bottom part: One has two 3mm holes for magnets, the other does not. I've experimented with several geometric handle shapes, and several patterns for the needles. This is my favorite. This design features half an icosidodecahedron for the upper dome, and an array of equilateral triangles for the cylindrical body. It is wide enough to support an array of 10 needles, arranged in parallel, in a pattern that in my view provides superior performance. I don't like splayed needles; I don't like needles too close together; and I don't like needles too far apart. This design hits the sweet spot for me. A nice summary of WDT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzrs7hj7Sto One photo shows two other WDT tools I've made. The black one is in the shape of an 8-fold polar zonohedron (with 9 parallel needles). The big round one has a body in the shape of a rhombicosidodecahedron (with 6 parallel needles).
