This is a model of a 50 ohm Wurth (p/n : 60312422114522) SMA 4-hole Flange Waveguide 18 GHz connector an alternate to the Rosenberger (p/n : 32K449-500L5) 4-hole Flange Waveguide SMA connector.There is a 15 mm extended Teflon insulator that covers up to 17.9 mm center conductor with a 1.27 mm diameter.This style of connector is useful for waveguides and horn antennas where the center conductor is cut to a 1/4 wavelength of the frequency of interest. The starting frequency of the center conductor (determined by 1/4 wavelength length) is 4.2 GHz and can go up to the maximum rating of this connector at 18 GHz (-3 dB) with a length of 1.67 cm (full wavelength). Note this does not include material thickness !
