Exported with an 8192x8192 texture to capture as much detail as possible (best viewed on a comptuter screen). Processed from 398 phots taken with a Nikon D5300 w/ kit lens in Agisoft Photoscan Pro. Damage caused during a German bombing raid in World War 1 to the base of one of the Sphinxes that flank Chleopatra’s Needle, by the Thames in London. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleopatra%27s_Needle,_London The main focus fo the scan was the shrapnel damage around the porphyritic granite base on which the Sphinx sits. I did attempt to scan the Sphinx as well, but without a way to photograph it from a higher angle, I wasn’t able to get a satisfactory scan ( Here’s my attempt: https://skfb.ly/6xJ99 )
