Through my position at the library, I partnered up with the First Division Museum at Cantigny to create a replica of a WWI VB rifle grenade launcher. The launcher will fit onto the muzzle of the M1903 Springfield rifle currently on display in the WWI trench case. The museum provided me with photos and a description of an original which I used to create the CAD file through Tinkercad.com. The project took 10 hours on Standard quality with rafts and supports. The First Division Museum has an original VB grenade on display with the rifle, but the launcher is an artifact they don't have in their permanent collection.
