Wyrmwood Inspired Dice Vault

Inspired from the Wyrmwood dice vault Kickstarter. Top and bottom plate can be made of any material you want, I went with an oak veneer, the rest of the plates were designed to be made from 5mm plywood or any other 5mm material for a 25mm storage height with 6mm eva foam padding (you can use an alternate size but many dice are 16mm plus leave room for some protective foam if you want). Parts were assembled with wood glue and clamped, then belt sanded all edges flush and added a 45 degree chamfer on the top on bottom edges. Magnet and screw holes are 9.5mm. I used 9.6mm neodymium ring magnets from Home Depot and press fitted them in with some superglue. For the screws I used m5x10mm screws and pre-drilled the holes and screwed them in, adjust screw height to get flush fit and so the screws touch the magnets. Finished off with a walnut finish, engraved a D20 logo on it, and finally applied an oil based polyurethane to seal it.
