Wyze Cam Mount Extension

Wyze Cam Mount Extension

I designed this mount extension in Fusion 360 to provide maximum flexibility for the vantage point for the Wyze Cam v3. It's adjustable, so see the pics below for a couple examples of what is possible. I used an M4 x 25mm clevis pin and a cotter pin to secure the two columns together (the holes are size M4) which worked out very nicely, but of course, you can use anything that will work, be it a regular machine screw etc. It's a little tight at first, but I recommend using pliers to rotate the clevis pin back and forth to make it easier to insert and remove later. There's also a screw hole for an M3 machine screw on the top perch to secure the web cam and it's sized perfectly for the screw opening on the base of the Wyze cam. Of course, you can stick with the magnetic plate that comes with the web cam if you prefer. Printing: I just accepted the default of 20% infill and .2 resolution. I have the Creality Ender 3 v2. For my bed temp I used 70C (I have the glass bed) and for my nozzle I use (215C). I was using 220C but it seems to lend towards the elephant leg kind of look (a little slouchy all the way up/down the column). Other times 220C seems to work better, but not for these columns.
