X-Acto Craft Knife Sharpening Jig

I need to sharpen knife blades to cut veneers for marquetry and I wanted to design and make a jig to give a consistent angle when grinding the back of the blade on a small abrasive stone. This jig works with X-Acto No 11 blades in a holder with an 8mm diameter knurled section. The abrasive stone required is 150mm x 12.5mm x 12.5mm and it fits snugly into the recess in the base, which has finger spaces to facilitate removal. The only other parts required are a M5 x 45mm screw and nut. There is a channel surrounding the base to collect stone and metal particles, so they don't get all over your bench or desk. You could obviously use the holder without the base if you prefer a larger sharpening stone. The sharpening should take place during the backward stroke to prevent the blade digging in to the stone.
