X-ACTO Knife #1

X-ACTO Knife #1

A model of a "Craft Knife" - made by » X-ACTO (USA) « - and four different "Knife Blades" for different applications. These are the first components of my project »X-ACTO Knife Set«Two further knife handles with knife blades, and a storage box will come at a later time.Notes:The spring ring - assembled on the collet - holds the inserted knife blade in an axial end position, before turning the collet nut for the tight final fixation. The collet is modelled and assembled in the manufactured state, that means, there is a small radial interference between the collet nut and the collet. A clearance (0,1 mm - on both sides) between the knife blade and the collet slots is existent too.The metrical threads (M11 x 0,75) are really modelled, but with theoretical values and therefore without clearance. The models are available in the following formats:STEP-file (.stp) of two assemblies and the native files (.prt) and (.asm) in two (.zip)-folders, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
